No wonder this is an award-winning best seller! Perfectly designed with the robin's nesting preferences in mind: an open-fronted entrance for easy access while the nest space is concealed behind the side wall and covered by the roof - just as they like it!
We are delighted to announce that we currently have robin chicks being successfully raised in our own Nester! One of the best things about NatureTree is being able to test the wildlife products. And we can tell you that this has passed with flying colours (literally!). We secured our Nester in a climbing hydrangea (robins and wrens love climbers) and are thrilled to see the robins readily take to it. See attached images.
An original design by TV naturalist and wildlife photographer Simon King, the lightweight nester can easily be wired into a hedge, climber or attached to a wall using the supplied spare loop of fixing wire. The base of the brushwood nester has a rattan landing platform with a low dividing wall separating the nesting or roosting space.
The Brushwood Robin Nester has previously won the Best New Product Design in the Glee Pet and Wildlife category.
The nester is also suitable for other bird species such as wagtails and spotted flycatchers which prefer the same style of open-fronted nester.
Size: H 12.5cm x L 25cm x D 14cm. Weight: 0.26kg
